Hello everyone,
Some of the Sydney Oracle Meetups (SOM) members asked Meetups organizers to help with Oracle related job hunting. We believe that this is an important community service, one that we would be happy to provide. In fact some of you (I know at least 5 members) found your current position via networking with other Meetups members. That being said, we should be careful and not allow Sydney Oracle Meetups to become a spamming tool. To help members who are looking for a job or let you help your organization to employ people you know from the community, we came up with the following policy (subject to changes in the future): - CANDIDATES LIST: We will maintain a current list of people who are looking for an Oracle related job - LIST AVAILABILITY: The list will be available to any SOM member under http://www.sydneyorac... - CONTACT CANDIDATES: If there is an open position in your organization, you can review the list and sent a notification to persons from the list directly - HOW TO ADD YOURSELF TO THE LIST: For now, to keep the document consistent please send all information to me (Yury) or Martin. We will update the list ASAP. Please use "Send email" functionality to send us a message (or use our email addresses if you know those). - WHO CAN BE INCLUDED ON THE LIST: For now, only SOM members can be on the list. This shouldn't be a problem, if you are an Oracle professional in the Sydney area, you should be a SOM member anyway :) ORACLE JOBs ADVERTISING RULES: - Any SOM member can publish/broadcast information about Oracle related positions available in the organisation he/she is working for (no posts from 3rd parties are allowed). - Recruiters however are free to join the group for networking purposes. They can communicate and meet Oracle professionals during our Meetups. However they are prohibited to broadcast the position advertisement using the group media (web, mailing list, etc) PS: Any suggestions on how to improve the policy are welcome SOM organizers |
