We are delighted to announce a very interesting and long time waited by many members Meetup.
This Meetup is dedicated to Oracle based technology development and performance questions.

We are having a special guest author for this event. One of a few Oracle ACEs in Australia, Oracle ACE Director Marcel Kratochvil will present in Sydney to the Oracle Community.

Title: How to Build Fast, Secure Web Applications with the PL/SQL Gateway and Oracle Multimedia

Description: This presentation will describe how to build HTML applications using Mod PL/SQL that allows you store and display Photo's, Audio and Video.
It will also cover how best to store the multimedia in Oracle tables using 11gR2 (and also covering Oracle 10g) . Additional topics covered include, performance and scalabity, multimedia retrieval, multimedia warehouses, securing the data and how to create thumbnails and other multimedia objects.
