There are some notes on oracle support
that describes approaches to upgrade agents

There is one note for 10.2.0.5 where new link
to patch agent (in deployments tab) appeared and
through GC interface you will be able to selected targets
to patch etc. In case to use the feature possibly you can
go with upgrade of OMS first. Moreover (based on note)
there is new verb for emcli that can be used for patching as well
(submit_agent_patch)

Here are the notes for agent upgrade:
How To Upgrade The Agent Using Grid Console Patching Method, And
Troubleshoot The Issues Related To Agent Upgrade. [ID 839796.1]
How to Mass Upgrade Agents Using the Grid Control Patching System [ID 392469.1]
Grid Control 10.2.0.5 Agent Patching New Features [ID 817516.1]
How to Apply the 10.2.0.5.0 Grid Control Patchset to Remote Agents
through Patch Deployment [ID 763321.1]
