I enjoyed a lively and informative conversation - lots of viewpoints and quite a bit of optimism all round. -
Excellent meetup. A lot of ideas floated around, some really good concepts discussed. Good to see optimism for IT careers is still with us and that not everything can be done with or needs "big data". -
I like the format. we had open and active discussion on the IT future. Thanks to all who came and contributed. -

This presentation prepared by the speaker was result of many years' DBA experience like the speaker has. These problems were real problem and any DBA would face these anytime during his/her career. Yury gave an apprach how to tackle and pointed out the pit-falls we should be aware of. Excellently prepared and a though provoking presentation. Good hard work and genuine work. -
one of the best meetup. Many good features about RMAN to think about and very good presentation by Yury. well done mate. hope it goes well next week too. -
After Yuri's excellent presentation, nobody need ever have any more problems with their RMAN backup script. It was well-prepared and presented in a way that maintained everyone's interest. Thanks for going to so much effort Yuri.

Enjoyed meeting with everyone. Some of which it was great to put a face to the name. I think the format of the event worked well for the amount of people involved. I enjoyed learning about new hot topics and the fact everyone was encouraged to get involved and tell 'their own story" -
It was interesting to hear the varied thoughts on best way to maintain professional skills through training. It was clear that Database professionals are always very busy, so training methods have to fit lifestyle. Also interesting to hear of different views on the certifications available. All good!

I think the venue and format worked well for this discussion. If there had been a significantly larger attendance that may have turned out differently. It was nice just to sit around with a beer chatting. -
It was the first meet up this year, I personally think that it was very good in a quiet place with a group of friendly Oracle pros. Using social network and specially our community to learn from each other was one of the brightest point. But most of them all finding a way to transfer our knowledge and experiences to the next generation and the role that colleges like Tafe can play, was my favourite part!

Good to share the different ways we can keep ourselves updated with so many options available.

Pity the weather kept so many away,m this was definitely the most value of the whole year. I took a couple of great hints from Yury's setup and was able to put together some stuff for the other folks that might be really useful. Will upload a more lengthy desc ription so that those who couldn't attend can also benefit from that knowledge. Yury will then add his content as well.

I just reviewed the the slide-desk! MAN! This has been one of the most valuable SOM presentation for me personally! I regret that I wasn't able to be there myself :( had 1 priority client emergency call ); I am sure Konrad delivered it well and shined the experience ;)

All things script best practice - and was good to see plenty of audience participation.

Excellent value. We got a lot covered and some intesresting ideas were shown. It certainly was a good refresher for bash use and how to take best advantage of it from the DBA perspective.
