An excellent high level walkthru of 11gr2 RAC -
Good overview of the latest clustering offering from Oracle. Also pleasing to see a large attendance for a presenter that is new to the Meetup. -
Top points for a well structured shared presentation on a difficult topic. Really well worth attending and nice to see a big turnout too.

Hi. It was good meetup for me because we discussed not some DBA stuff but useful developer topic. Very clear explanation of complex things. P.S. And we had bottle opener yesterday! :) -
Gave me an excellent insight into how analytics work and how it can be used and where. Definitely worth the time!

It's always worth spending some time talking to others to see what they are doing on this subject. And what problems are they hitting and why. In this respect, this meetup was excellent: a lot of experience was shared and the new format with the fixed time allocations worked a treat with everyone getting home at reasonable times.

I am not Oracle DBA :) Just developer but I found last discussion interesting to me. I was able to broaden my mind and see what DBA struggles with.

Hi. It was my first meetup with Sydney Oracle mates. I am glad I visited it because I listened questions which I would never ask to myself. It is like you discuss something at web forum but in real life – offline :)

Good to review inexpensive tools that are used to measure I/O performance.

I think it was a very good meeting. Special thanks to Casey Dyke who bring on board very nice presentation style and shared his experience from the field. -
Excellent intro/goals/framework + very nice demo of various tools and interesting performance benchmark when slicing of disk from outside edge to inside of disk.

Dan is both informative and entertaining. I know we all got something out of the talk, and not just the book I won. If I thought I had any chance of convincing management to have him come train us, I would certainly try. Well done for inviting him to present. -
